Hello! Thanks for the feedback, I've made several adjustments to improve the gameplay experience:
Features:
+ Added a results screen that shows the increment/decrement of the stats at the end of each night.
+ Added a color indicator at the moment persons are about to stop checking out a trap and start patrolling back home to avoid unfair deaths.
+ Introduced a new "Wandering" person. It has a 20% chance of spawning on low suspicion levels, but its appearance is forced on higher suspicion. The "Wandering" person will walk to the trap and check it's surroundings. They'll never let their guard down.
+ Added a version indicator to the title screen.
+ Updated some graphics.
Balance:
+ Reduced the amount of sanity lost by killing a single person from 3 -> 2.
+ Increased the amount of hunger added by skipping a night from 30 -> 40.
+ Increased the minimum chance of people spawning when triggering a trap from 0.05% -> 10% if your victim count is high.
+ Reduced the maximum variation of a person's speed from 40 -> 25.
+ Increased the cooldown for traps from 16 -> 20.
+ Changed the fireplace location to avoid instant death when high suspicion person spawned nearby.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed an issue where the radius used to check the "killing" interaction between the player and distracted people was bigger than intended.
- Fixed an issue in which under certain number of kills, the game variables would update incorrectly.
- Fixed an issue with player movement in which, under certain circumstances, the player could move faster than intended.
- Fixed an issue in which the game's data for night progression would not reset properly if the player died by getting shot.
This update brings QOL features to the game, like the ability to see your results at the end of the night, and adding a visual hint to notice when the villagers are gonna start patrolling again. I also introduced the "Wandering" person to help spice up the game loop and increase difficulty.
The balance changes allows for more entertaining gameplay when a player has reached a high number of nights survived, and also fixes some issues detected during extended gameplay.
The next update will focus on bug fixes and platform compatibility.
